I help singles focus on finding the right partner.
My Story: Welcome
Having a successful romantic relationship mystified me. Raised in a single-mother household, I lacked a coupled model. My beginnings – the child of an arranged marriage during Cambodia’s Khmer Rouge era who grew up in a refugee camp – taught me to survive rather than thrive.
Without an ideal love compass, I tried and failed at relationships. Albert Einstein’s definition of insanity is “doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.” Like you, this too often defined me in matters of the heart.
Why are loving, committed relationships so elusive? My experience taught me to reframe this question. Instead of asking why a relationship didn’t work out, we need to ask how do I find the partner who is meant for me? I will help you plan your path to seeking a soulmate while being a happy single.
I’m done with deadlines and headlines. With my degree in Social Work and over 15 years as an international journalist, I will provide you with the tools and techniques you need to enjoy going on dates because you are fully prepared to ask thought-provoking questions, listen deeply, and be present in the moment while staying detached about the outcome.
You’re a successful single in your 30s and 40s who is ready for real love. You want to improve your dating skills because you are ready to commit to finding a life partner. You like a challenge. And while you don’t always like hearing the truth – who does? – you’re open to using it to get what you want. Maybe you own one or two self-help books, read the occasional article on relationships, and worked with a therapist. You’re willing to stretch out of your comfort zone because you know change is needed. You’re functional, addiction-free, and open-minded. You’re committed to personal growth, open to possibilities, and honest— even with the hard stuff. In your heart, you know you will find The One. But how? If this is you, please proceed.
Our story will be results-focused. Our partnership is co-creating, meaning we’re thought partners. I help you discover your purpose, your values, and your hurdles to achieving what you want for yourself. Together we will design a personalized action plan to get you on track and keep you moving forward. You can verbalize your wants and needs in our relationship. You cannot get what you want until you can describe it. We’ll take your realizations and prioritize them into conscious choices. This will help you to choose a partner who is truly aligned with who you are and what you want in life. If this sounds like us, message me and we’ll get started.
